We are looking for experienced Production Machine Operator to join a successful long running Australian manufacturer of world class steel products for industry. Reporting to the Production Manager, your role is to cut, prepare and load raw materials into milling machines and presses to produce the highest quality products in the most economical and safest way possible.

Key responsibilities will include: Safe setup and operation of the following plant and equipment to maximise productivity and minimise waste:

Milling machine Plasma profile cutters 100T hydraulic press Guillotine Punch Control QA and tempering operations Paint lines Packaging lines Other duties include participating in planned plant maintenance and maintaining a clean and tidy work area.

We are seeking the following skills and experience: Production/manufacturing industry experience A proven commitment to complying with safe work procedures An intuitive approach to machine operation with the ability to recognise and report machine malfunctions immediately before major damage occurs Strong attention to detail and quality Physical fitness to fulfill the required duties This is a full-time permanent role with a 100% Australian owned manufacturer of quality steel products operating for over 45 years. Training will be provided, and rates are $33.54 per/hour for experienced operators + reasonable overtime available. Day shift Monday to Friday.
