Zancott is seeking experienced Doggers and Riggers with a strong background in lifting and rigging to join our expanding civil construction projects located in the Northern Suburbs of Adelaide. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who have solid experience in the rigging and dogging field, but are looking to diversify their skills and step into the civil construction industry. You will gain exposure to new and diverse tasks, from handling heavy equipment to working with civil construction teams on large-scale Subdivision developments. Training will be provided to help you successfully transition into civil construction and develop your career further.
Key Responsibilities: Assist in site prep work, including material handling, setting up machinery, and assisting skilled workers. Work closely with site managers, and the civil construction team to coordinate the safe movement of materials and equipment. Perform daily inspections of rigging and lifting equipment, ensuring all tools and equipment are safe and operational for use. Follow all safety protocols and civil construction regulations. Assist in maintaining a safe work environment for yourself and your teammates. Assist with general construction labor tasks as you transition into the civil construction sector. This may include earthworks, trenching, small plant operations, spotting, pipe laying. To be eligible you must meet the following: White Card is essential Car and licence Preferred Complete face to face interview at Stepney Location Able to pass a Urine Drug & Alcohol Screen Successfully complete a fit for work assessment Provide working rights Two checkable work references Ability to work remote Desirable but not essential: Civil Construction Experience: any experience in civil construction projects will be considered an asset.
