The Opportunity
We're building a best-in-class Sales team for our brand new Australian licensed function which will go-live in July 2025.
Reporting to a State Sales Manager, this Key Account Manager - On & Off Premise role offers something unique and career defining. Joining in our build phase, you will play a key role in establishing work processes as well as building collaborative relationships with your assigned customers to enable the delivery of the Suntory Oceania strategy. Forming part of our state based Field Sales team you will manage relationships with key On-Premise groups.
Key responsibilities include:
Build and nurture mutually beneficial partnerships with both South Australia and Northern Territory's Key On and Off Premise customers and groups. Build and execute best in class account plans, including Trading Terms, Joint Business plans and promotional programs aligned to both the Customer and Suntory strategic priorities. Build and execute a hunting pipeline for new business accounts across both South Australia and Northern Territory. Build and nurture productive relationships with your state field sales team to drive excellent execution of plans at venue level. Deliver best practice ROI reviews, including course correction initiatives to grow when required. Take a leadership role with the State Sales Manager that transcends functional responsibility. Champion On Premise capability within your State. Work closely with cross functional stakeholders including Shopper marketing, Brand and Finance across marketing activation, forecast and trade spend optimization. What's in your toolkit?
With a proven track record in account management within the FMCG industry (Liquor is highly preferred), we're looking for an individual with a natural flair for developing and maintaining effective relationships with our customers to realise triple win outcomes. You will have a strong commercial acumen, attention to detail, ability to prioritise, numeric and analytical problem-solving skills coupled with the ability to negotiate and influence at all levels.
