A place to make a difference: In this part-time, maximum term role (4 days per week, through to end of June 2025, with potential for extension), you'll work as a part of our Mobile Youth Outreach Short Term Remand Pilot team in Wagga to help us create lasting change for children everywhere. The Youth Specialist plays a key role in delivering on our vision of a better world for young people.
You will make a difference by: Providing early intervention sessions via Mobile Youth Van to young people 10-17 years in school and out of schoolFacilitating youth-led arts and recreational activities, mentoring in practical skills, career and education supportWorking in collaboration with partners (government and non-government) towards common goals to meet the complex needs of clientsActively participating in community events to promote the programMaintaining accurate case notes and records, and inputting data into internal and external online systemsA place to feel valued: You're an experienced and passionate youth worker, and your commitment to fostering positive relationships within our diverse communities is second to none.
