Available Roles: Occupational Therapist: Salary $88,255.00 - $102,240.00 AHP2 (Pro Rata)Clinical Psychologist: Salary $88,255.00 - $102,240.00 AHP2 (Pro Rata)Social Worker: Salary $88,255.00 - $102,240.00 AHP2 (Pro Rata)Clinical Nurse/Midwife: Salary $84,870.00 - $107,279.00 RN/M2C (Pro Rata)Role Overview: These positions present an opportunity to undertake innovative and exciting work with a focus on early intervention in the treatment of mental health issues in young people. Joining the Youth Mental Health Services team, you will provide assessment and therapeutic interventions to young people with serious mental health problems. The role will involve case management/care coordination and delivering a range of other clinical activities, including psychosocial and mental health assessments, risk assessment, care planning, clinical reviews, and transfer of care planning consistent with the Youth Model of Service Delivery. This may include being part of therapeutic group programs.
You will be providing clinical services to consumers whose severity of mental health disorders or level of disability necessitates regular follow-up and review to facilitate improved functioning within the young person and their lives. You will work collaboratively with the young person, their carers/families, and social supports with the aim of maximizing well-being, assisting stabilization in mental health, and building capacity for self-management. Your role will require close liaison with a network of stakeholders concerned with/involved in the delivery of services to the young consumer.
About the Role: Clinical Decision-Making: Responsible for the delivery of a range of clinical activities, including care planning, clinical review, psychosocial assessment, and Mental Health Assessments consistent with the Youth model of Service Delivery.
Clinical Leadership: Demonstrate clinical leadership within the youth stream, offering support and supervision to less experienced staff.
Educational and Research Contribution: Play a role in the educational and research culture of mental health services, contributing to ongoing learning and innovation.
