Your opportunity
As the Job Placement Coach , you will be part of a support team that works together with young people, focusing on building their skills, confidence, and readiness to enter employment through targeted and tailored activities. In this role, you will use your customer service skills and ability to build relationships to support them in gaining skills that will lead to meaningful, sustainable employment.
Your role will include:
Delivering tailored, outcome-driven employment services, including assessment, pathway development, employer outreach, and ongoing support for sustainable employment. Completing intake assessments with participants to determine work readiness. Collaborating with members to set goals and implement strategies. Sourcing and matching employment opportunities for young people using a strengths-based, client-centered approach. Job matching, cold calling, and reverse marketing the young person to employers. In addition, you possess:
Demonstrated experience in identifying and implementing actions, including job-seeking activities to progress young people on their pathway to employment. The drive to meet KPIs – it isn't just a number; it is a young person's life that you help change for the better. Proficient skills in using technology and systems; our compliance requirements are high, and your administration needs to be on par with this. Great employer engagement skills - you love cold calling and reverse marketing. Resilience to work in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. A solid understanding of the local labour market and the barriers faced by disadvantaged young people. A full Australian driver's licence. Your benefits
