The Yard Manager is responsible for providing high quality traffic equipment to our customers consistently through managing yard staff in repairing, maintaining and preparing traffic equipment.What you'll be doingOperating the yard with a strong focus on safety, people, and customer experienceDeveloping yard efficiencies to improve storage, reduce damage and improve load & unload processesEnsure the Safe Loading and unloading of traffic equipment in accordance with CoR legislationProvide strong leadership and direction to the team of yard staff who work toward ensuring all equipment is maintained to a high standardEnsures systems and processes are applied to maintain a high standard in equipment presentation for best representation of the Orange Hire brand on customer sitesDesired Skills and ExperienceTo be successful in the role, you will have a people-first leadership style that values the importance of employee engagement, whilst balancing the operational need to optimise customer satisfaction and business results.
