The Role Are you looking for a role with a mix of customer service with a mechanical flavour but without the cold calling? This is a hands-on position where you will dealing with tradies and big machinery.
You will be part of a well-oiled machine, managing the return of modern, high-end construction and civil equipment and vehicles.
Key Responsibilities: Managing the return of construction and civil machinery and equipment. This includes:
Meeting customers, overseeing and assisting with the offloading or delivery of equipment Maintaining the awesome customer satisfaction that is already in place Basic mechanical checking and reporting any damages Refuelling and completing post hire paper / computer work Keeping the yard clean, tidy and uncluttered Assisting the Pre Hire Coordinator as required Benefits: The company invests in staff development - ability to be trained into other roles and get WTR experience Gain experience with a wide range of large modern, high-end commercial machinery Contributing within a small dynamic team Well established company with great job security Work hours are Monday to Friday 7am to 5pm - 47.5 hours per week. Must be able to work overtime if required.
Requirements: Experience dealing with customers or clients Physically fit and able to climb on / under large equipment Excellent spoken and written English including great handwriting Full Class 1 (car) drivers licence is a must Forklift experience Mechanical knowledge or experience F, W, T, R licence endorsements would be a bonus Must be living in and be legally entitled to work in New Zealand - NZ / Aust Citizenship or NZ Permanent Residency.
