About The Role We are seeking a visionary Vice President of Delivery to join our team, who will be responsible for overseeing and guiding the Delivery team to ensure the successful execution of projects and alignment with organizational goals.

What You've Done Held senior management roles with 10+ years of experience in project management or as a product owner and 5+ years of leadership experience. Successfully led large-scale projects in a web agency setting using Agile methodologies. Designed and implemented scalable processes to drive team and project success. Mentored and developed high-performing teams, emphasizing learning and professional growth. Gained a strong understanding of the skills required as a Delivery Lead (Project Manager, Product Owner) with the ability to step into projects as a point of escalation. Managed client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and long-term retention. Collaborated cross-functionally to align team strategies with organizational objectives. Preferred: Scrum certifications (e.g., PSM, CSM) and PMP credentials. Expertise with Jira and familiarity with WordPress platforms like WordPress.com VIP. A passion for the WordPress community and the open web. Strong experience administering projects in Atlassian's Jira. Familiarity with working on high-scale WordPress installs and platforms like WordPress.com VIP. Experience with enterprise media and digital publishers. What You'll Do Here Partner with the Chief Strategy Officer to develop and execute Delivery strategy in alignment with XWP's goals. Recruit, retain, and develop the Delivery team, which includes Delivery Leads, Quality Analysts, and Product Designers. Optimize delivery processes, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and exceeding client expectations while working collaboratively with cross-departmental teams to implement improvements that enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Support the sales process by assisting with RFP and sales pitches, specifically as they pertain to the Delivery team and processes. Implement and monitor quality assurance processes to ensure that all work meets or exceeds client expectations. Support team members in problem-solving and resolving escalated issues. Champion learning, development, and a high-performance culture across the Delivery team. Contribute to client growth and retention through exceptional project outcomes. Implement and oversee reports that provide insights into project performance, enabling data-driven decision-making. Assist with client account management on an as-needed basis.
