What You'll Do:
As a Senior Associate Engineer in our Melbourne office, you'll hold a leadership position, enhancing the capabilities and reputation of our Geo-environmental engineering team. You'll engage in significant projects across civil, infrastructure, and mining sectors, focusing on managing subsurface environmental risks, geosynthetics, embankments, earthworks, and surface water management.
Develop innovative and sustainable engineering solutions as part of an industry-leading team. Lead the delivery of complex projects in geo-environmental engineering, urban infrastructure, waste management, and mining. Prepare and review technical documentation for clients across various project phases. Build and maintain strong client relationships, supporting both project delivery and business development initiatives. Ensure the highest quality in project delivery, overseeing risk management and maintaining technical standards. Mentor and guide a team of junior engineers, fostering a collaborative environment and sharing project responsibilities. Support operational management efforts, contributing to the development and execution of strategies to achieve business objectives. About You:
Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or Geotechnical Engineering, with significant relevant experience. Strong background in civil/environmental/geotechnical engineering, especially related to subsurface environmental risks, geosynthetics, embankments, earthworks, and surface water management. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to advise technical and non-technical audiences effectively. Proven leadership in project management, including multidisciplinary projects. A highly motivated, innovative mindset with a dedication to technical excellence. Demonstrated ability to take ownership of projects, make strategic decisions, and mentor engineering professionals.
