Your Role as a Mechanical Tradesperson As a Mechanical Tradesperson at Bis, you'll play a crucial role in keeping our underground mining equipment in top condition.
Your expertise will ensure maximum equipment availability and a productive lifecycle through preventative maintenance and high-quality repairs.
You'll also prioritize safety, ensuring that all tasks are performed in a manner that minimizes risks to both yourself and your colleagues.
What We're Looking For We're seeking talented individuals with: A relevant heavy mechanical trade qualification.
Previous experience repairing heavy equipment in the mining, civil or gas industry .
A valid driver's license.
A strong commitment to safety in the workplace.
Good work ethics, communication skills, positive attitude and willing to learn.
Good to have, but not essential: At least 2 years of post-apprenticeship Workshop Fitter experience.
Experience with underground diesel equipment.
Competency in forklift operation.
