The Role Our Workshop Supervisors are hands-on shift leaders for our warehouse team, monitoring the performance of our mechanics and the maintenance and repair of our Neuron N3 & N4 e-scooters.
The primary KPIs relate to the productivity of the warehouse technicians (RTG/hour) and inventory accuracy levels.
Reporting to the Operations Associate, a Workshop Supervisor also ensures that our warehouse is operating efficiently, safely and in accordance with Neuron's standard operating procedures.
This role also has the opportunity to streamline warehouse and repair processes and spearhead the growth of Neuron by proactively contributing to other launch initiatives in AU and elsewhere.
The ideal candidate will have the availability to work 4 weekdays plus 1 weekend day however can be flexible for the right candidate.
What you'll do: Develop and execute Neuron's Warehouse Management strategy in Townsville. Service and repair e-scooters. Ensure the Warehouse team performs quality control and basic maintenance on the electric scooters. Ensure that the Warehouse team adheres to the Operations Standard Operating Procedures. Perform basic administrative tasks, such as shift scheduling, manpower deployment and inventory management. Plan for and conduct monthly (or as required) stocktakes. Train new e-scooter warehouse technicians and conduct any refresher training as necessary. Other ad-hoc tasks as required. Be responsible for the Workshop KPIs. Represent Neuron as a positive brand ambassador. What you'll need: Prior experience in warehouse operations would be advantageous, particularly in the mobility, transit or supply-chain space. Prior mechanical experience with the ability to service and repair e-scooters, including comfort with lifting, carrying and manoeuvring 30 - 35kg as needed. A suitable personal smartphone is required (generally an Apple or Android device from 2018 or newer). Prior experience in stock planning and management. A hands-on approach to leadership - our Workshop Supervisor will need to be comfortable "leading by example," working alongside our warehouse technicians. A process-driven mentality, with experience defining best practice warehouse procedures. Demonstrated ability to deliver results in a complex operational environment. Flexible work schedule with the ability to work occasional evenings and weekends as needed, especially during new location launch periods. Excellent communication and people skills.
