WorkPac is currently in search of a Workshop Supervisor with a background in Fabrication to join our esteemed client's team based in Karratha.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Oversee daily workshop operations to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to production schedules. Manage and mentor workshop staff, providing guidance and support to enhance performance and skill development. Develop and implement QA/QC processes, including Inspection Test Plans (ITP), Material Data Reports (MDR), and Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS). Create and manage work packs by preparing detailed documentation for fabrication projects, ensuring clarity and completeness. Prepare estimates and schedules, developing accurate cost estimates and project timelines for workshop activities. Ensure health and safety compliance by promoting a strong safety culture and ensuring adherence to company safety guidelines. Liaise with clients regarding project status, requirements, and any concerns that arise. Skills and Experience:
Experience in trade fabrication, preferably in fixed plant or oil & gas. At least 2 years of supervisory experience in workshop or site management. Knowledge of QA/QC processes, including Inspection Test Plans (ITP) and Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS). Ability to prepare accurate estimates and develop project schedules. Proficient in Word and Excel; experience with project management tools and CAD is a plus. About WorkPac:
