McCosker Contracting have an exciting opportunity for a Workshop Site Supervisor to join our team. This position is based in the Gladstone region for project sites located on various sites.
In this role you will successfully coordinate workshop operational requirements and be responsible for the direct supervision of workshop and subcontractor workers to ensure all safety, environmental and quality specification requirements are achieved.
To be successful you will have: Qualification in Engineering - Mechanical / Diesel Fitting / Mobile Plant or equivalentCurrent Queensland Open Drivers LicenceConstruction Industry Induction (white card/ blue card)Experience in planning and coordinating resourcesHigh level knowledge and experience in mechanical maintenance of plant and equipment used in a civil construction industryExperience with Caterpillar, Hitachi, Volvo will be advantageousKnowledge or and/or experience in the civil construction industryExperience in managing teams and supervising the work of othersAbout you: Critical analysis and problem solving skillsSelf-motivated in the completion of tasksPerform with a high level of accuracy and attention to detailAble to manage time effectively, using strong organisational skillsDesire to work cooperatively in a team environment to achieve goalsLead by example, acting ethically and with integrityAble to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholdersAble to take direction and follow instructionsActively comply with policies, procedures, and processesAbout McCosker McCosker are experts in the civil construction industry offering a diverse range of services to the mining, construction, building, gas and industrial sectors.
