Workshop Supervisor - Heavy Transport Equipment

Austcorp Executive are partnering with a well-established design, manufacture, and service provider of heavy transport equipment.
They work closely with the mining, construction, agricultural, and general freight industries throughout Australia.

On the back of a successful year, the team is looking to recruit an experienced Workshop Supervisor - Trucks & Trailer Assembly on a full-time basis who has previously worked in a successful hands-on assembly/fabrication department.

As the Workshop Supervisor, your day-to-day responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Managing a team of workshop professionals in regards to effective delivery of trailer fit outs.Scheduling and prioritizing work to meet production targets.Working closely with different teams across the company.Mentoring tradespeople, trade assistants, and apprentices.A little bit about you: 2+ years experience in a manufacturing/trailer workshop.Trade qualification in Fabrication, Vehicle Body Building, or Heavy Mechanic Fields.Experience with fit out of electrical, ABS, and Hydraulic components (Highly Desirable).Strong leadership and team management skills.Experience managing junior members of workshop staff.What's in it for you: This position offers the chance to join a growing, exciting, and professional business with opportunities for growth and career development.
