Workshop Operations Manager

Mining - Engineering & Maintenance (Mining, Resources & Energy) Full time Our client is currently seeking an experienced Workshop Operations Manager.
You will be responsible for the daily supervision of workshop employees whilst also ensuring that deadlines and targets are met.
This role will require you to report directly to the General Manager.
Duties of role, but not limited to: Management of employees to ensure all works are completed within set timeframesAll quality, safety and environmental requirements are continually metPlanning and reviewing of all current and future projectsAssist with ordering and ensuring that all required materials reach siteBe the point of contact for the Workshop, Sub-contractors, Transport, and SitesAdhere to all site safety policies and proceduresAdhere to all company policies and procedures regarding daily operationsWhen and where required, assist the safety team in the investigation and reporting of any accidents or incidentsAbout you: Trade Certification Boilermaker/Welder or Tertiary Qualifications in EngineeringExperience and understanding with regards to mining equipmentExperience in managing a fabrication/engineering workshopExperience in back office including costings, profit and loss etcMust have a current C Class Driver's LicenseIf the above role sounds like you then do not delay in sending your updated resume through to us today!
