With an enviable reputation for service delivery, client satisfaction and a collaborative corporate culture, the organisation is positioned for continued success.With a positive outlook and new projects coming on-line, we are currently seeking an experienced Workshop Mechanical Foreman to join the leadership team. Reporting to the CEO, you will provide critical day-to-day leadership and coaching to a team of experienced tradesmen in the heavy vehicle and diesel mechanical space. The CEO and leadership are passionate about developing people and place high importance on workplace safety while offering a fun and rewarding team environment.Key Responsibilities:Oversee and manage the daily operations of the workshop, including morning toolbox presentation, safety and ongoing performance managementCoordinate and schedule work for technicians, ensuring timely completion of repairs and servicesProvide technical support and guidance to technicians, assisting with complex diagnostics and repairsEnsure all work is performed to the highest standardsMaintain accurate records of work, parts and labour hoursFoster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and continuous improvementCoordinate the repair/overhaul and project timelines, to optimise and minimise turn-around timeEnsure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policiesWe are seeking a confident leader, with a strong technical background and a mechanical trade certificate. You will thrive in a busy environment and have a 'people first' approach. A clear communication style, along with a cheerful outlook and a commercial mindset will ensure your ongoing success in this role.Career progression is a focus, and we offer a standard work week, with no weekend roster or FIFO/shift duty requirements.
