Workshop Mechanic - Wangaratta

Porter Plant , a market leader in equipment maintenance management and dry hiring of plant, equipment and light commercial vehicles, currently have a vacancy for a qualified workshop diesel mechanic . About the Role Based in our Wangaratta facility, you will apply your trade across a diverse range of assets, from heavy vehicles to earthmoving equipment ensuring that plant and equipment is safe, reliable and ready for our customers. You will be responsible for: Routine servicing; Maintenance; Performing effective fault diagnosis on a variety of equipment; Overhauling of mechanical components. You will need to have: Trade qualification with relevant experience; Ability to work unsupervised; Excellent organizational, communication and reporting skills; Good computer skills for the completion of electronic work orders; Sound awareness of OH&S management principles.
