Still intrigued? Then let's talk about the key tasks you will perform in your new role.. Conduct inspections on machinery and tanks. Perform scheduled maintenance tasks, on plant and equipment. Identify, troubleshoot, and diagnose faults in both mobile and fixed equipment. Repair and replace worn or defective parts, reassemble mechanical components, and consult service manuals as needed. Update and manufacture site and process upgrades as directed. Maintain accurate records and documentation of service and repair activities. Monitor inventory levels and order new parts when necessary. Experience and qualifications Certificates or diplomas in relevant trades such as Mechanical, Plumbing, Fitter, or a similar field. 2-3 years of experience in a workshop environment. Forklift licence or prepared to obtain.
