Management (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics)Full timeLocation: Tumut, NSWRole Purpose: Lead, optimise, and inspire as the Workshop Manager at Roddy Engineering.This vital role reports to the General Manager and oversees a dynamic team, ensuring efficient operations, top-tier quality, and on-time project delivery both on-site and in the workshop.Key Responsibilities:Manage a team of 5 direct reports, including a Workshop Supervisor, Weld/QA Coordinator, Logistics Coordinator, Stores Coordinator, and Site Supervisor.Mentor and coach team members to foster growth and accountability.Conduct performance appraisals and career development plans.Operational Excellence:Coordinate resources and schedules to optimise job outcomes.Oversee job planning, equipment maintenance, and workshop flow.Ensure ISO compliance and workplace safety.Develop scalable systems to eliminate single points of failure.Promote a culture of excellence and innovation.About You:Proven leadership and coaching experience in workshop or project management.Strong planning, organisational, and decision-making skills.Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.Why Join Us?At Roddy Engineering, we celebrate success, own our outcomes, and grow together.
