The Opportunity

As a

Workshop Manager , you will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision of the Hazelmere Business, ensuring deadlines and targets are met, reporting directly to the General Manager.

Based in our Hazelmere Workshop in Perth, on a

5D 2RR

roster, your primary responsibilities will include:

Management of employees to ensure all works occur in accordance with set timeframes and quality, safety, and environmental requirements

Review and plan projects to ensure technical aspects of each job are clear

Assist with ordering and ensure materials reach site and provide a contact point for Workshop, Sub-contractors, Transport, and Sites

Observe requirements of the OH&S Legislation, relevant to the job, and adhere to all site policies and procedures regarding OH&S

Observe appropriate Site Policies and Procedures regarding day-to-day operations, including the CSI Code of Conduct

Drive, implement, and ensure compliance with Company safety management systems and programmes

Where required, assist the companies Safety department in the investigation and reporting of any accident, incident, or loss of asset that occurs in the workplace

What is required?

Our ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role managing an MEM or fabrication workshop and office, with proven experience working with a diverse workforce.

Key skills, experience, and qualifications:

Tertiary Qualification in Engineering or Trade Qualifications

Current WA Driver's License – C Class

Existing and ongoing Australian work rights

The workshop, located in Hazelmere, Perth, specialises in the design, manufacture, repair, and refurbishment of mobile mining equipment.
