Description of the roleWe are looking for an experienced Leading Hand for our manufacturing facility in Mackay, QLD.
This is a full-time permanent position with weekend work on a rotating roster.
Mandatory Qualifications & LicenseSKILLS & EXPERTISETo be successful you will require: Trade qualified (Cert III in Engineering – Boilermaker)Previous experience as a Leading Hand with proven leadership skills is preferred but not essentialMinimum 5 years experience in heavy fabrication and heavy repair in mining or manufacturing industryExperience in FCAW and ability to pass a 4G weld test to AS2980 standard, UT and visualA keen eye for detail, a strong commitment to quality and pride in your workAn active and responsible approach to safetyGood organisational and time management skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsGreat team player and results drivenExperience using Microsoft software packagesBe able to pass a medical which includes drug and alcohol testingHold a current High Risk License with working at heights, forklift, overhead gantry and/or dogging will be highly regarded, but not essentialMust be an Australian citizen or have the right to work in AustraliaWhat do we offer in return?
