This role requires a blend of agricultural and mechanical expertise, leadership skills and the ability to interact effectively with both customers and staff.To be successful, you will be a confident self-starter with a passion for agricultural and small construction machinery, an open mind for a rural lifestyle and demonstrate the following attributes.Key ResponsibilitiesMechanical ExperienceExtensive knowledge of agricultural and construction machineryDiagnose and repair skills, ensuring all machinery is repaired in a safe mannerCustomer InteractionCommunicate effectively with customers to understand their needsMaintaining a high level of quality output and customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptlyMentor and train apprentices, providing guidance and support to develop their skillsCreate a positive and collaborative work environment, encouraging continuous learning and developmentWorkflow and WIP ManagementManage work-in-progress (WIP) and workflow to ensure timely completion of tasks and quality controlCoordinate with team members to prioritise and allocate resources efficientlyUnderstanding of productivity and efficienciesTeamworkDemonstrate strong teamwork skills and work closely with service advisor, parts advisors and the sales team to ensure seamless operationsEffective communicator across all departmentsRelevant Trade Certificate or experience as a Diesel MechanicStrong mechanical, hydraulic and electrical diagnostic skills and experienceExcellent customer service and communication skillsAdvanced troubleshooting experienceShare our passion for being a part of an engaged workforceA current driver's licenceRewardIn return, you will be working alongside our experienced Service Team for a company that values its employees.
