Council is seeking to appoint two (2) permanent full-time Labourers to contribute to Council's success.
Enjoy a healthy work-life balance on a 9-day fortnight roster – with your team currently trialling an 8-day fortnight roster until 2026Work outdoors throughout the Gladstone regionBased at Gladstone DepotAbout the Role The purpose of this position is to support Council's direction by efficiently undertaking construction and maintenance activities of civil infrastructure and undertaking a wide range of maintenance, repair and improvement tasks within the Gladstone Region.
You will bring: Labouring skills to carry out maintenance activities on a daily basis.Experience and competency operating under a current Medium Rigid (MR) licence.Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team and independently.Sound communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills.Basic keyboard skills and experience and competency using technical devices.Current Work Safely in the Construction Industry (White Card).Eligibility & Pre-employment Checks To be eligible for this position, the candidate must have applicable working rights.
