Riverina Motor Group, a leading multi franchise new car dealership in Wagga Wagga, is currently looking for an experienced Workshop Foreman who is self-driven and has a can-do attitude to join their busy service centre. The successful applicant will have a strong mechanical & diagnostic background to assist in leading a full team of technicians to maximise their output throughout the workshop whilst being able to deal with competing priorities.
As a Workshop Controller, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the efficient operation of our workshop, ensuring customer satisfaction and maximising productivity.
Key Responsibilities Manage and coordinate workshop activities, including job scheduling, resource allocation, and technician assignments.Ensure adherence to service standards and quality control measures.Diagnose and troubleshoot complex automotive issues.Train and mentor less experienced staff.Liaise with internal staff and management to ensure smooth operations.Maintain a positive and customer-focused work environment.Skills and Qualifications Proven experience as a Workshop Controller or Foreman in a similar automotive environment.Strong technical knowledge and understanding of automotive systems and repairs.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Strong leadership and team management abilities.VBA Brand experience highly desirable.Minimum Requirements At least 2 years experience in a similar role.High organisational skills.The ability to multi-task and prioritise.Current NSW driver's licence.Competitive salary based on experience, ongoing manufacturer training and development, supportive and friendly work environment, and opportunities for career advancement are offered.
