Workshop And Asset Manager

Highgrade Personnel are sourcing an experienced and motivated leader. As the Workshop & Asset Manager, you will report to the Managing Director and be responsible for the effective and efficient management of the workshop team.You will facilitate scheduled servicing, oversee general maintenance and repairs to our fleet of Trucks, Trailers, Tankers, Cranes and LV's, along with stocktaking, ordering and maintaining required levels of stock.This role is based in Kalgoorlie Boulder and is a residential position only; no FIFO offered.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee workshop activities and manage a team of technicians and tradespeople including apprentices.Coordinate scheduled services, repairs, and job tasks with your team.Ensure all maintenance and repairs are being carried out in a timely manner and to industry standards.Provide leadership and foster a positive work environment for your team.Maintain a safe working environment and report on hazards that affect the health and safety of yourself and others.Develop and maintain strong working relationships with suppliers.The successful candidate will possess:Relevant Trade Certificate/s – Engineering Tradesperson, (Automotive) Heavy, Mobile Plant Technology (or similar).Previous experience working on truck and trailer equipment.Effective time management and attention to detail with a strong planning and cost control focus.Ability to work unsupervised and autonomously.A desire to work with self-motivation.Sound computer skills and ability to learn new systems effectively.Requirements:National Police Clearance (less than 12 months old).Western Australian HR Drivers Licence minimum - MC licence preferred but not essential.Willing to undergo a full medical and drug/alcohol testing specific to client's requirements.Able to provide 2 professional references.
