Who are you? With a background in electronics or remote monitoring, you have recently stepped into the project coordinator or project manager space and are looking to take your career in a new direction. With experience operating and upgrading remote data monitoring instrumentation, you have the ability to influence and negotiate effectively with contractors, management, and other stakeholders to support delivery of a capital works plan.
As a team player, you enjoy supporting and mentoring junior members and adopt a collaborative approach to managing multiple deliverables. In addition to an Electronics or trade qualification, you hold the necessary Project Management experience that will allow you to be effective in this position. A current driver's licence and strong computer skills are also required.
About the role: To put it simply… you will help coordinate the specialist hydrological, meteorological, geological, and environmental data monitoring systems and people for the remote monitoring team. This covers our full suite of hydropower assets across the state that have been operating for over 100 years!
As Works Coordinator, you will be…
Planning, organising, and supervising contractors and monitoring their scope of work,Monitoring project expenditure and maintaining estimates and reporting back on variances,Providing specialist knowledge in Remote Monitoring for the installation, and maintenance of all remote monitoring equipment and sites,Managing the execution of the work to ensure compliance and quality,Working closely with a range of stakeholders from Production Supervisors to our Safety, Environmental and Commercial teams,Mentoring and supporting junior members of the team including Cadet Hydrographers.On top of a competitive remuneration package, you get the chance to work on our stunning locations across the state of Tassie. This role offers flexibility in not only location, but with the ability to work a 9-day fortnight if this suits your lifestyle. You will also have access to vehicles when travelling to our sites.
