Project Overview: The project is looking to implement an electronic care system into the Tasmanian Health Service (THS) residential aged care beds. We have 95 aged care beds across 6 rural/remote sites and the services are currently totally paper based.The move to an electronic care system is necessary for THS to be able to meet the strengthened Aged Care standards and to be able to demonstrate compliance. In order to proceed with procurement we need to develop detailed requirements to take to market.Experience / Skills: Highly developed and demonstrated skills in analysing existing processes and systems, including requirements gathering and mapping to determine a clear understanding of current versus future state.Outstanding liaison and communications skills to work with, and collaborate/consult with, a diverse group of stakeholders.Experience working with a significant degree of independence and autonomy in determining priorities, procedures and approach that have a direct and significant effect on the RPM Project.Duties/Activities: Requirements Gathering: Elicit, document, and analyse business requirements from stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, IT teams, and end-users, to understand their needs and translate them into clear, actionable specifications.Data Analysis: Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights from healthcare data, helping organisations make informed decisions and improve patient care.Process Mapping: Document and map current healthcare processes and workflows, identifying areas for improvement and optimisation to enhance efficiency and quality of care.Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders, facilitating clear communication and understanding of project objectives, progress, and challenges.Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including business requirements, user stories, process flows, and technical specifications, to ensure project transparency and knowledge sharing.
