Specialised Services was established in 1979 and are a dynamic Demolition & Asbestos Removal Company located in Edwardstown, Adelaide.
We currently have an exciting career opportunity for an experienced Works Coordinator.Reporting to the Director, the Works Coordinator will oversee works from conception to completion, ensuring delivery is compliant with safety standards, regulatory obligations, on time and budget.
To achieve this you will lead and manage our field teams on a daily basis.Some day to day tasks of the role include:Tendering and estimating future works.Responding to enquiries and liaising with customers.Collecting samples of materials for laboratory analysis.Prepare and manage all aspects of work programs and schedules.Resource monitoring to ensure works are achieved seamlessly.Proactively monitor the progress of works from site/office and liaising with subcontractors, clients etc.Maintain a safe workplace and compliance with regulatory requirements.Create and modify Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) and assist with maintaining our certified company management systems ISO 9001, ISO 45001, ISO 14001.Role Specific Information and RequirementsExperience in managing demolition and asbestos removal works.Proven experience and knowledge with estimating.Strong leadership skills with experience in supervising staff.Strong communication skills are essential.Must have a strong work ethic, with a can-do attitude and the ability to work in a fast paced environment.Some outside of normal hours work will occur.Employee BenefitsRenumeration negotiable based on knowledge and experience.Company vehicle, phone, laptop included.Safety focused, high performing team environment.Opportunity for career growth.PPE and further training provided.Equal opportunity employer.This is an excellent opportunity to work with a well-established business based in Edwardstown.#J-18808-Ljbffr
