What you'll do Provide advice in workplace relations matters including the interpretation and practical application of relevant legislation, policies, employment contracts and industrial instruments such as Enterprise Agreements and Awards.Analysis and identification of risks, initiatives, trends and contemporary best practices.Coach and support the leadership team in complex industrial and employee relations matters, including grievances, formal complaint management and disciplinary matters.Guide and provide resources to the HR team broadly across day to day case management.Manage and guide industrial negotiations and responses to industrial disputation or other critical business risks.About you Demonstrated experience in advocacy and representing organisations at industrial commissions/tribunals.Ability to develop and execute IR strategies and initiatives delivering improved business performance and outcomes including Enterprise Bargaining strategies.Experienced in complex IR case management including performance management and discipline and conducting investigations.Familiarity working in complex unionised environments, ideally within the community services industry.Strong people skills to engage, inspire, influence, build trust, coach, and facilitate growth.Robust conceptual, analytic, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to negotiate effectively, resolving issues constructively and devising appropriate solutions.Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Law or Business will be highly regarded.Who we are Cara is proud to be South Australia's leading disability service provider.
