About the Role We're seeking a seasoned Senior People & Culture Advisor with extensive generalist HR experience to join our team and play a critical role in supporting the Hillside Project for Rex Minerals.
Reporting to the General Manager People & Culture, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end employee lifecycle, including recruitment, employee relations, industrial relations, performance management, and employee development.
While your primary focus will be on the Hillside Project, you will also provide support across the wider organisation as needed.
This is an exceptional opportunity to influence the culture of a growing company while contributing to a major mining project in South Australia.
Key Responsibilities: Lead the recruitment process to attract top talent, ensuring alignment with business needs and culture.
Drive employee engagement initiatives and foster a positive, high-performance work environment.
Manage employee and industrial relations matters with a focus on compliance, conflict resolution, and employee well-being.
Provide strategic guidance to senior leadership on all People & Culture matters.
Support employee development programs to build leadership capabilities and enhance workforce performance.
About You To succeed in this role, you will bring: 8+ years of experience in People & Culture roles within the mining sector.
Bachelor Degree in Human Resources, Psychology or related discipline.
A collaborative approach with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels, especially with senior leaders.
Demonstrated expertise in end-to-end recruitment and talent management.
Strong communication skills, creative problem-solving abilities, and a passion for driving positive organisational change.
Demonstrated ability to lead the roll out of employee performance, development and engagement systems and initiatives.
A proactive, independent work ethic, capable of working autonomously and taking ownership of projects.
