You will work closely with Jane as well as work directly with clients and manage files from instructions through to completion.Jane works with clients from large ASX, private, and government organisations on a diverse range of health and safety matters including litigation and criminal prosecutions, safety systems, and health and safety frameworks. As well as case work, Jane advises boards and leadership teams to identify and manage health and safety risks, meet their compliance and safety goals and protect their license to operate.The work undertaken is often complex and requires you to work closely with clients as their trusted advisor.This is a fast-paced and interesting role that offers an exciting opportunity for a career-minded professional to progress their legal career in a supportive environment and a growing group, servicing quality clients.About youGiven the diversity of work undertaken by the team we are open to considering candidates who are currently working in this space as well as those with experience in criminal litigation or regulatory litigation who are keen to make the transition into a role such as this.You will have gained exposure to the following:Managing files and working closely with clientsLitigation work, including court appearances, engaging experts, criminal procedure, contested matters, and pleasDealing with regulators and prosecutorsWritten advice to corporate clients, boards, and/or senior executivesWhat is of key importance is a genuine passion for this area of law alongside your ability to work closely with clients and to build those relationships.This is an exciting opportunity for a career-minded professional to develop their legal career in this space.
