Join us in this diverse role as the WH&S Coordinator across four of our sites in Northern NSW.
About the Role Ramsay Health Care is seeking a WHS Coordinator to effectively support the National Safety Team and National Safety Manager in the management of the company safety management system (RamAusSMS) and the promotion of work health and safety across the four facilities.
You will oversee work health and safety across 2 hospitals and 2 surgical centres: Port Macquarie Private Hospital & Coolenberg Day Surgery in Port Macquarie Baringa Private Hospital & Ramsay Surgical Centre Coffs Harbour in Coffs Harbour The successful candidate can be based in Port Macquarie, Coffs Harbour or somewhere in between for great coastal lifestyle!
The role offers flexibility to share time across the 2 locations.
Occasional work from home can be negotiated.
This is a permanent part-time role working 4 days a week.
The 4 working days are open to negotiation with the successful candidate.
Your Essential Skills and Experience Tertiary qualifications in WH&S Experience in Work Health and Safety and demonstrated knowledge in relevant WHS legislation Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills Effective skills in planning, time management, problem solving and decision making Commitment to the achievement of excellent outcomes, with a strong sense of accountability and customer service Valid NSW Drivers licence and your own car Desirable Skills and Experience Certificate IV Workplace Training and Assessment Experience within the health industry or a large organisation Remuneration A base annual salary of $100k - $110k ($80 - $88k pro rata) + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.
