About the role
The Workforce Reporting Analyst plays a crucial role in collecting, structuring, analysing, and reporting on HR processes and data for the Department of Government Services (DGS) and its client departments.
The Workforce Reporting Analyst undertakes regular and accurate data analysis to produce workforce reports that are meaningful, informative and are accompanied by narrative and presented in a manner that is understandable to the audience.
About you To be considered for the role, you must be able to demonstrate:
Data Literacy: Skilled in cleansing, manipulating, analysing, and synthesising complex HR data and information from multiple sources and presenting it clearly and precisely, both verbally and in writing.Critical thinking and problem solving: Strong conceptual and analytical skills, ability to apply complex concepts to process development and/or redesign and reporting, with strong issue analysis and resolution skills. Considers wider business context in analysis to inform development of reports and other deliverables.Project Delivery: Well-developed project management skills, with ability to manage competing priorities and tight timelines.Working collaboratively: Demonstrated ability to develop and sustain strong and effective partnerships with managers and team members and external stakeholders, including the ability to influence to produce quality outcomes and to contribute to strategic objectives and commercial focus to keep abreast of changing business priorities.Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Seeks opportunities for continuous improvement and ways to innovate, including through use of appropriate technology, alternative ways of working and process modification.Mandatory requirements Experience in analytics, preferably HR analyticsProficient with Microsoft Office SuiteFor specific responsibilities please review the attached position description.
