Role details: The Workforce Recruitment Team at the Mackay Base Hospital is seeking applications for a Workforce Recruitment Officer to join their team on a permanent basis.
Your opportunity: The purpose of the Workforce Recruitment Officer role is to facilitate and support the seamless process of employment of Health Service staff by contributing to a team-based environment in one or more of the above-mentioned areas.
This position will also support the Manager Workforce and Recruitment and Executive Director People as required from time to time, maximizing value to the organization.
About the Team: The Workforce Recruitment team is a cohesive team responsible for the recruitment of all MHHS staff including nurses, doctors, professional, administrative, and operational staff.
About our Hospital and Health Service: Mackay Hospital and Health Service has 6 hospitals, 2 multi-purpose health services, and 4 community health centers that employ more than 3,700 staff.
The district covers an area of approximately 90,000 km² and provides services to patients and their families in Bowen, Cannonvale, Clermont, Collinsville, Dysart, Glenden, Mackay, Middlemount, Moranbah, Proserpine, and Sarina.
