About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Workforce Planner to optimise the scheduling and allocation of resources for our dynamic Technology team. This pivotal role is responsible for prioritising, scheduling, and managing incoming work to ensure we meet both client and internal expectations. The Workforce Planner will collaborate closely with team leaders and stakeholders to drive efficient capacity utilisation, facilitate process improvements, and strategically plan resources for future projects. This role is onsite at our Homebush office.
Key Responsibilities: Resource Allocation & Scheduling : Manage and monitor the Technology team's scheduling system, ensuring incoming work is prioritised and matched with available resources based on skills and the appropriate technology selection. Capacity Monitoring : Continuously oversee current and future resource utilisation, ensuring we're prepared to scale to meet demand or use spare capacity effectively on internal projects. Process Optimization : Collaborate with team leaders and stakeholders to enhance scheduling and resource planning processes, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence. Qualifications and Experience: Previous experience in workforce planning, scheduling, or resource management—ideally within a technology professional services environment, call centre operations, or a similar field. Familiarity with the customer communications industry and data management processes. Diploma or bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related discipline. Proficiency in resource analysis and reporting using tools like Excel and Power BI. Key Skills: Strong organisational and analytical abilities, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy. Resilience under pressure, able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, adept at building relationships across teams.
