THE ROLE: We are seeking an experienced Workforce Planner to join our team. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years' experience in workforce planning and forecasting for our Customer Hub. The Workforce Planner will undertake short, medium, and long term forecasting to ensure staffing levels are aligned with expected customer demand and optimize staffing levels to deliver targeted service levels, productivity, sales and cost efficiencies.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO DO: Conduct effective short, medium, and long term forecasting for the Customer Hub to ensure staffing levels are aligned with expected customer demand.Develop and manage capacity planning, rosters, post-roster reviews and analysis to ensure maximum efficiency and productivity and drive continuous improvement across the Customer Hub.Participate in the development of automated monitoring and reporting tools to support operational decision making.Work closely with stakeholders from across the business to understand and plan for upcoming activities along with reports.Optimise staffing levels to deliver targeted service levels, productivity, sales and efficiencies.Establish workforce planning policies, procedures and disciplines and assist in creating, developing and maintaining a safe, positive, supportive and inclusive work environment for the team.WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THE ROLE: A minimum of 3 years' experience in workforce planning and forecasting in a 100 plus seat retail sales Customer Hub.Knowledge of workforce management software, tools, and methodologies and experience in roster generation and optimisation.Strong stakeholder management skills with experience in building strong relationships.Excellent people skills with a strong ability to manage and motivate teams.Highly developed analytical skills and attention to detail with the ability to interpret data from multiple sources and make informed decisions with a strong business acumen.Strong communication and presentation skills.Ability to work independently, multitask, prioritise and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.WHY YOU'LL LOVE WORKING AT DIRECT GROUP: EXCELLENT product discounts across the Group.Free on-site parking.Social club.Free membership to SONDER health and wellbeing for you and your family.Learning and development – we want you to grow and get the most out of your role!Recruitment referral incentives for permanent and casual placements.Join us at Direct Group and become part of a fun team who love what we do!
