About the Opportunity The Workforce Demand Manager is responsible for the development, upkeep and reporting of Program Workforce Demand Models and associated datasets.
Responsibilities Establishment and implementation of the Program workforce demand model framework, in conjunction with Joint Partners.
Development and maintenance of the Program workforce demand model dataset(s), aligned to program work breakdown structure (WBS) and schedules, including maintaining version control of model changes.
Undertaking workforce demand scenario modelling.
Reporting workforce demand data reporting to stakeholders, and support as required to program cost estimate development.
Contributing to the development of an organisation wide workforce demand model.
Management and Leadership of Program Workforce Demand Specialist Teams.
Required to work closely with ASC's Corporate Workforce Strategy team.
About You Qualification in Project Management or related field, or Engineering field desirable.
10-12 years demonstrable experience in strategic or tactical workforce planning or similar in a complex engineering and/or defence program.
Experience with contemporary planning and scheduling toolsets (Primavera, Open Plan or MS Project).
High level of confidence with data analysis and data management activities, including high competency in Microsoft Excel.
High quality writing skills, excellent time management and organisation skills, the ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with others.
Able to make sense of complex and high quantity information to effectively solve problems.
Builds and sustains relationships with a network of key people internally and externally.
Eligibility This role requires a current National Police Clearance, an Australian Defence Security Clearance and an ability to access protected US defence technology.
Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearances and approvals.
Whilst ASC will accept all applications for this role, as this role requires an ability to access protected US defence technology, applicants holding nationality of certain foreign countries will not be eligible.
