Parliament of SAJob reference: 600573Location: 5000 - ADELAIDEJob status: OngoingEligibility: Open to EveryoneJob Description:AS06 People and Culture Business Partner (FullTime)About the RoleThe Parliament of South Australia is seeking a dedicated Peopleand Culture Business Partner to provide high level advice, underbroad direction, in the management and delivery of people, cultureand capability services and solutions that are fit for purpose,customer focused and trusted. In this role you will be implementing strategies and actions forhuman resources, work health and safety, employee relations, whileensuring continuous improvement and ensuring compliance withrelevant legislation and industrial instruments. You will providehigh-level strategic advice to our leaders, managers and staff oncomplex and sensitive matters. Moreover, you will contribute totransformational workplace change and support strategicinitiatives, all while promoting a culture of inclusivity andrespect within Parliament.Responsibilities: The incumbent willbe required to provide authoritative advice, support andconsultancy to all levels within the Parliament. The Peopleand Culture Business Partner will build and maintain strong workingrelationships with stakeholders and deliver outcomes-focused adviceon a range of generalist people management matters.Selection Criteria:Significant operational People and Culture experience in acomplex environment and proven ability to provide high leveladvice, internal consultancy, and innovative solutionssupported by a relevant business, HR, and/or WHSqualification. Demonstrated ability to research and provide specialistadvice in one or more areas of Work Health and Safety, InjuryManagement, Employee Relations, Change Management; Recruitmentand Selection; Employee Relations; Equity and Diversity; PolicyDevelopment; and Performance Management. Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor staff and clientswith an ability to support and drive change across a mix ofestablished departmental cultures and manage sensitivesituations confidentially and effectively. High level communication and interpersonal skills,including experience in business, report writing, policy reviewand development, advocacy, negotiation, and conflictresolution.Demonstrated project-planning and management ability,resilience under a degree of pressure through working with adegree of autonomy and contribute effectively as a member of aprofessional team. Proven understanding of contemporary technology to embedprocess improvements in business-as-usual activities andsupport the evolution of a best practice People and Culturefunction (e.g. Human Resource Information System (HRIS),hazard/incident reporting systems). Application Instructions:Applications must be lodged electronically.
