CCQ has seven key priorities for health improvement: mental health, alcohol and other drugs, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health, population health, health workforce, digital health and older person's health. About the role The Workforce Coordinator is responsible for supporting the delivery of high quality and evidence-based continuing professional development (CPD) to primary health care professionals via face to face and virtual formats. You will develop partnerships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders whilst coordinating participatory and engaging educational and other types of events. The key deliverables include clinical society coordination, venue bookings, speaker engagement and logistics management. Amongst these involve event coordination, stakeholder management and quality improvement as primary responsibilities. As a Workforce Coordinator, you will be highly organised, possess strong attention to detail, have excellent communication skills and be an effective problem solver. There will be some travel across Central Queensland region, occasional overnight stays and accommodation provided. The Coordinator will apply a knowledge of adult learning theory to support the development a multimodal curriculum that meets the CPD requirements of primary health care clinicians and alignment with the strategic goals of CCQ.
