About the Team Our Workforce and Culture (W&C) Team is a critical part of the NFSA's transformation, partnering with managers across the organisation to achieve our strategic goals.
The Opportunity The Workforce and Culture Advisor is responsible for providing HR advice and assistance to the NFSA. The role requires someone who is enthusiastic and keen to learn, can problem solve, and work as part of a small team to deliver quality outcomes.
Job Description Under limited direction, this position is responsible for delivering the following functions:
Provide Workforce and Culture (W&C) services to the NFSA on a range of HR related functions, including: recruitment, learning and development, work health and safety, and health and wellbeing. Complete HR administrative tasks associated with the delivery of W&C systems and services, including: processing recruitment activities, undertaking policy and legislative research, maintaining ServiceNow ticketing requests, assisting with staff onboarding and induction, monitoring probation compliance, monitoring and updating the staff parking register, processing invoices and maintaining the team budget sheet, and monitoring and actioning the W&C and Recruitment email inboxes. Provide correct and accurate advice to staff and managers to ensure compliance. Actively participate in small term projects in maintaining, developing, and promoting HR related activities. Selection Criteria The successful candidate will demonstrate their capacity against the following:
Experience in supporting a range of HR related functions. Experience in interpreting and applying relevant HR related legislation, policies, and procedures. Well-developed organisational and time management skills. Demonstrated communication and stakeholder management skills. Desired Skills and Experience Background or interest in human resources is desirable.
