Your role as an Employment Consultant As an Employment Consultant you will be our participants key support person, where you will work to build their employment potential and identify suitable employment opportunities for them. 


You will be part of a team where everyone has a role to provide the best disability employment service in the country. 


An example of a typical day or week may include: Assisting our participants (your clients) at their appointments with capacity building activities and job search Assist writing and preparing resumes and applications for your participants Coaching your participants with interview skills and confidence building to become job ready. Creating a clear pathway to employment through tailoring a personalised job plan for your participant Participate in marketing activities for your participants to future employers Who are we looking for? Employment service experience is not essential - We want people who can bring their lived experience from other roles and industries.  You must have a great work ethic, be passionate, fair and willing to support people with a disability, injury or mental health condition, find work that's right for them.


We are looking for engaging, resilient and computer literate people who can establish and maintain effective relationships with our jobseekers, employers, service providers and our team. Ideally you will have strong administration skills, attention to detail and must follow our compliance guidelines.

Successful employment is confirmed upon satisfactory compliance checks, which can include NIDS workers check, National Police check and Working with Children check.
