They are looking to recruit a talented and enthusiastic insurance lawyer with around 1 to 3 years post admission experience.Our client acts for major insurers, local and international and self-insureds.The focus of the role will be workers compensation matter and work injury matters but there will also be general liability matters, common law matters, policy advice and interpretation, advising on risk management, catastrophic claims.On a day to day basis you will have client contact, draft client reports, draft advices on liability, attend conciliation conferences & mediations, go to court, brief counsel, draft submissions and be involved in the settlement of matters.The matters will be interesting, challenging and of a high calibre. You will have partner access and the other senior members of the team are there for support. They also enjoy mentoring.About YouThe ideal candidate will have:Around 1 to 3 years pae in the area of insurance litigation and/or personal injury law (pre-admission experience in insurance/personal injury law will be looked upon favourably)Our client is open to foreign qualified lawyers who are on a working holiday and will be able to sponsorStrong writing skills and verbal communication skillsSolid litigation skillsHighly developed organisation skillsAbility to work under pressure and juggle competing deadlinesEnthusiasm and a 'can do' attitudeCulture and BenefitsOn offer is an attractive salary package.
