This organisation is a leading provider of healthcare workforce solutions across Australia and are highly regarded for delivering and providing high quality care and support to both public and private sectors.In response to continued growth and in line with positive organisational transformation, they are now seeking a Work Health & Safety (WHS) Manager for a newly created, national division.Reporting directly to the HR Leader, the WHS Manager is a new role that will be responsible for leading the implementation of relevant safety programs across the new portfolio – working closely with the broader team and other stakeholders across the business to operationalise both cultural and system-based outcomes.You will:
Have oversight of the Safety function for this division, with one direct report, and have overall responsibility for ensuring high levels of safety outcomes are maintained across the new business
Proactively collaborate with People Leaders within the division to identify gaps and operationalise solutions that address key risks
Lead both legislative compliance as well as drive objectives that support a culture of continuous improvement and ensure a strong safe work culture exists within the department

Previous experience in implementing Health & Safety programs across a corporate environment – ideally within a healthcare setting

Comfort to roll up sleeves and proactively support the team and broader business
