Veritas Education is excited to offer a full-time opportunity for an Inclusion Support Worker at one of our local primary schools in Leeds.
This role is pivotal in ensuring that all students, especially those with SEN and SEMH, have access to a supportive and inclusive learning environment.Position Details:Role: Inclusion Support WorkerLocation: Primary School, LeedsStart Date: As soon as possible (pending compliance checks)Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30am - 15:30pmPay: 85 - 90 per dayKey Responsibilities:Work across various year groups to support students in overcoming barriers to learning and classroom accessProvide tailored assistance to students with SEN and SEMH needsCollaborate with teachers and other staff to develop and implement effective support strategiesParticipate in additional training to enhance your skills, including de-escalation techniques for challenging situationsWe Are Looking For:Individuals with previous experience in an inclusion or support role (preferred)Passionate candidates with a strong commitment to working with children and young peopleExperience or interest in supporting students with SEN and SEMHEnhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for one upon successful registration)Professional or academic references covering the last 2 yearsEligibility to work in the UKWhy Join Us?Make a meaningful impact on students' educational experiencesReceive additional training to advance your skills and knowledgeBe part of a dedicated and supportive teamHow to Apply: If you are enthusiastic about fostering an inclusive learning environment and have a genuine passion for supporting students, we want to hear from you!
