Synopsis: INFORMATION FOR APPLICANTS Greater Shepparton City Council, situated in the heart of the Goulburn Valley, is the fourth largest provincial centre in Victoria and has a well-developed economy due to its strong agricultural and irrigation base, with major industries related to food processing, manufacturing and transport.
The Goulburn Valley is often referred to as 'The Food Bowl of Australia' as around 25% of the total value of Victoria's agricultural production is generated in this area.
Greater Shepparton has a population of approximately 65,000, and an expenditure budget in excess of $118 million.
The population is culturally diverse with 9.9% of residents being born overseas.

Work Group Officer - Learn to Swim Salary: $70,960.76 per annum Closing: Friday 3 January 2025 Full Time - Temporary (to 15 August 2025) The Work Group Officer of the Learn to Swim Program is in charge of the biggest swimming program in Shepparton.
We strive to uphold a high standard in Learn to Swim and seek a motivated, enthusiastic person, committed to working in a team environment to join us.
With 1,200 enrolled Learn to Swim participants, our program incorporates progressive levels with age appropriate development and skill levels for all ages.
The successful applicant will be responsible for a range of duties primarily focussed on customer service, providing assistance in the areas of administration, planning and coordination of our Learn to Swim program.
