About the Role: This permanent position presents an exceptional opportunity for a lawyer to join the legal team of one of Australia's leading listed companies.
Working within the Perth-based marketing legal team, you would provide internal legal support in relation to a range of topics including pipeline gas, trucked LNG & LH2 marketing and sales in Australia and seaborne Liquids marketing through Asia-Pac, long-term LNG SPA opportunities, price reviews, global traditional energy business development and new energy marketing activities.
Duties & Responsibilities: Provide commercially-focussed, pragmatic legal advice and assistance to marketing & trading stakeholders and management, including supporting the negotiation and implementation of various commercial arrangements associated with LNG, trucked LNG & LH2, pipeline gas, liquids offtake, new energy-product marketing, offtake business development.
Manage external legal support on specialist and complex marketing matters, including long-term LNG and gas SPAs, price reviews, regulatory change and marketing disputes.
Identify and assist to mitigate risks and address corporate governance and regulatory compliance issues across the company's Australian marketing and sales activities.
Support Australian-based Board engagement and subsidiary company management.
Provide structured and ad-hoc legal training on Australian legal matters.
Skills & Experience: You must be admitted as a lawyer to practise in an Australian jurisdiction.

You must be appropriately qualified with relevant tertiary qualifications (law degree).
An applicant who demonstrates they are a team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills will be preferred.
Self-motivated with strong organisational and prioritisation abilities are required.
An applicant who demonstrates negotiation and influencing skills, including confident interaction with senior stakeholders will be preferred.
Proven ability to build and foster positive relationships and networks.
Have an interest in new energy products marketing.
