Program Lead - Women and Community Safety to lead our Domestic and Family response in the Shoalhaven.
In this role you will be the driving force behind the effective and efficient delivery of critical programs and services.
You will manage both clinical and administrative functions, ensuring the highest standards of service, continuous improvement, and exceptional client outcomes related to programs designed to keep women and children safe, working to reduce and stop the use of all forms of domestic and family violence.
Counsellor/facilitators of Men's Behaviour Change individual and group interventions, case management, training, and counselling with men who use violence in intimate partner relationships.
Partner Support Workers to provide Counselling, case management, advocacy and support for victim/survivor partners who attend the Men's Behaviour Change Program.
Counsellors to provide counselling, case management, advocacy, training and support for victim/survivors including children and young people.
What We're Looking For: ? Experience working with vulnerable populations including women impacted by domestic and family violence, and/or experience in men's behaviour program responses including group facilitation.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders and partners to increase collaboration, growth, and opportunities including representation at relevant network events.
Ability to work autonomously while ensuring ongoing communication with manager, peers, direct reports and stakeholders.
Good time management skills with the ability to think laterally, work under pressure to achieve deadlines in an environment with competing priorities.
You will provide: Collaboration with other organisations to provide a multi-service response to family and domestic violence and help clients get the support they need through clear referral pathways.
Counsellor/facilitators: Groupwork or one-to-one delivery, case management, training and counselling to men who use violence in their intimate partner relationships.
Counse llors: ?Counselling, groupwork, case management, training, advocacy and support for victim/survivors -women, children and young people.
Partner Support Workers: Counselling, case management, advocacy and support to partners of men in the behaviour change programs.
Qualifications, Experience and Competencies required: ? A relevant degree qualification in Counselling, Social Work, Psychology or equivalent and a minimum of 12 months experience for counsellors/facilitators and partner support workers; and 3 + years for leader.
Demonstrated work experience in delivering services to men who use violence in intimate partner relationships; and/or providing service that supports partner/survivors and their children.
For counsellor/facilitators working with men, qualifications in Men's Behaviour Change and Domestic and Family Violence or a willingness to obtain.
Current unrestricted driver's licence and a willingness to drive between sites as required.
Willingness to facilitate men's group programs outside of standard business hours if required.
Current WWCC, National Police Check and appropriate Clinical Registration.
i.e.
minimum level 4 ACA, PACFA Clinical, APHRA, AASW mental health social worker accreditation.
