How will I help?
The Westpac Group is part way through an exciting journey to simplify and uplift its data and analytics tools and capabilities, giving each of our businesses the power of data driven decisioning and insights. You'll play a key role in helping business leaders understand and start using the new tools and capabilities available to them, as well as moving from our legacy data lake to our new cloud-based data platform, powered by Microsoft Azure
You will be integral to helping Group Data achieve its vision by playing a key role in the delivery of analytics and business intelligence projects for Westpac.
Key Responsibilities:
Accountabilities: Develop and implement change strategies to minimize business impact, lead change impact assessments to mitigate risks, design and execute new standards in communications and training, define and monitor key metrics with stakeholders, and manage stakeholder engagement for strategic outcomes.
Risk and Compliance: Enhance project delivery methodologies, manage change-related risks, develop mitigation plans, facilitate risk discussions with stakeholders, ensure compliance to reduce organizational risk, and address regulatory requirements effectively.
Drive High Performance: Foster a high-performance culture in the portfolio change team, act as a positive ambassador for the Data Transformation Portfolio, collaborate to promote continuous improvement, engage in broader Group Data initiatives, share knowledge in forums, and support empowered, self-organizing teams with leadership.

What do I need?
Proven track record with over 7 years of experience in managing highly complex change initiatives, ideally across multiple programs, demonstrating the ability to transition people and businesses from 'program' mode to BAU. Extensive experience working with multiple stakeholders across an enterprise. Skilled in leading a team of Change Managers within a matrix structure. Proficient in data migration. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong presentation skills, with proficiency in PowerPoint and other tools being advantageous. Ability to deliver multiple outcomes within tight timeframes and under pressure. Demonstrated ability to manage diverse and multiple stakeholder groups effectively. Experienced in developing documentation and adhering to project/change management methodologies. Preferably experienced in the financial services industry. Effective collaborator with project team members. Keen attention to detail.
