As a FIS Alpine Coach, you will provide safe and engaging training sessions, to maximise learning potential and exceptional experiences for our Open-age athletes.

In a typical day in this role, you will: Provide safe, fun, and engaging experiences to a variety of our Snowsports including athletes and guests.
Be a member of a diverse and remarkable team of Snowsports professionals.
Facilitate quality learning experiences and practice world-class customer service.
Navigate an active and exhilarating workplace and engage supportive team effort.
To be considered for this role, you should have: An official Snowsports instructing or coaching certification, such as an APSI, ACA, USSA or a recognised international equivalent.
Previous coaching experience with at least two (2) full season experience with athletes in U14, U16 or FIS Alpine level athletes in SL and GS racing disciplines.
Excellent guest service and communication skills, including conversational in all aspects of the English language (spoken and written).
Positive attitude and a willingness to be highly adaptable with dynamic workplace duties.

Offers for these positions will begin to be sent out from February.
Employment start dates will vary depending on the role and snow conditions, but most roles start in June and finish in September.
Additional Information Successful applicants may be expected to assist the Snowsports school with variety of lessons outside of their assigned Winter Sports Program hours.
Our FIS Coach will be likely engaged in 5-6 days of coaching during the program.
Program registrations remain open until June, meaning some prospective coaches may not be assigned to a program.
If this is the case, these coaches may be expected to fulfil their availability commitments as a Snowsports instructor.
Uncertified Coach applicants may be considered although expected to complete an APSI instructor certification.
If required for your role, the Snowsports school will cover the cost of your course and exam fees.
The associated costs may include purchase of an APSI Manual and Membership package.
Most of our Snowsports team are employed based on a casual basis with either unlimited or limited availability.
You will be able to let us know in your application which option best suits you.
Unlimited availability team members must be able to commit to working up to 6 days per week for the duration of the winter season.
Limited availability team members must be able to commit to the minimum availability as listed below for each resort.
Limited availability expectations for each resort: Perisher - typically includes two (2) weeks during the New South Wales July school holidays and other peak periods when possible, or as otherwise agreed upon with the Snowsports School Senior Manager.
Falls Creek - typically includes two (2) weeks during the Victorian July school holidays and most weekends in August Hotham - typically includes two (2) weeks during the Victorian July school holidays and all weekends in August, or as otherwise agreed upon with the Snowsports School Senior Manager.
Staff accommodation may be available for successful applicants with unlimited availability.
Successful applicants with limited availability will not be eligible for staff accommodation.
